We offer a number of different memberships at The Royal Kennel Club. Read more below about the benefits of each, and find a membership that's right for you.
Why become a member of The Royal Kennel Club?
Members receive copies of each publication of The Royal Kennel Club Stud Book, The Royal Kennel Club Year Book, The Royal Kennel Club Breed Records Supplement to the Stud Book, The Royal Kennel Gazette and The Royal Kennel Club Journal.
Our members also receive a membership card (non-transferable), which entitles you to ordinary member access to Crufts and Discover Dogs shows and discounts as set by The Royal Kennel Club Board.
Members are provided with social facilities at The Royal Kennel Club's head office in Mayfair, where a club room and restaurant are available for members and rooms may be booked for meetings by breed clubs and canine societies.
To become a member of The Royal Kennel Club, you can do so in the following ways:
- Speak with a Royal Kennel Club member who is happy to be your proposer and they can download the application form from The Royal Kennel Club members zone. You will then need a seconder in order to complete your application.
- Being a Associate of The Royal Kennel Club for more than five years allows you to apply to become a member by contacting us.
- If you have been an Affiliate and an Associate for at least two years and three years respectively you can apply be come a member by contacting us.
- Being a Young Kennel Club member at senior level for a continuous period of at least five years allows you to apply for membership without the need for a proposer and seconder. For more information please contact us.
Why become a Young Kennel Club member?
As a Young Kennel Club member, you will receive free tickets for Crufts and Discover Dogs, access to our dog training days, entry to great competitions and events, not to mention loads of opportunities to make new friends who share your interest in dogs. Whether you are just starting out in the world of dogs or you're more experienced, the Young Kennel Club will support you through training, education and guidance.
Why become an associate of The Royal Kennel Club?
As an associate of The Royal Kennel Club, you will receive a number of publications from The Royal Kennel Club and admission concessions to Crufts. Associates have the opportunity to participate in the election of The Royal Kennel Club's committees every three years.

Why become an affiliate of The Royal Kennel Club?
As an affiliate of The Royal Kennel Club, you will receive a subscription to The Royal Kennel Gazette, The Royal Kennel Club’s official publication, and you'll also receive The Royal Kennel Club Journal direct to your inbox.
You will also receive a loyalty card, which gives you a 10% discount on Crufts and Discover Dogs tickets, as well as on publications purchased from our online store or from The Royal Kennel Club show stand at all events.
