North Yorkshire flyball stars conquer at Crufts

Flyball team, the Junkyard Dogs took the top prize on Sunday 8 March, winning the final at the world’s greatest dog show, Crufts.

The Junkyard Dogs is made up of dogs and handlers from North Yorkshire. The team impressed the crowd at the Birmingham NEC and beat off competition to reach an exciting final against The Sharks at Crufts. These teams competed in eight qualifiers held at a range of shows during 2025 for the chance to make it to the 'grand prix' of flyball at Crufts.

The winning team consisted of:

· Venture handled by Kerry O’Toole

· Drift handled by Cheryl Quinn

· Havoc, handled by Tom Rosenblatt

· Wiccan, handled by Ashley Jennison

· Mac, handled by John Clarke

· Kiko, handled by Kelly Mee

· Surge, handled by Shannon Harvey

· Box loaders Garry Quinn and Adam Clark
