Help to ensure the right people are in the right roles.

It is important to take care in recruiting staff and volunteers who share our commitment to safeguarding. Our safeguarding checks and training are in line with requirements based on the nature and level of responsibility related to individual roles. These ensure that people in positions of trust, especially those working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults are appropriately vetted and trained to uphold a safe and compliant environment. Not everyone requires the higher level of checks, and we will be introducing self-assessment and declaration type checks depending on the actual needs and requirements for particular roles.
