The Greatest Showpaws Day

Step right up to The Greatest Show Paws—a bold and brilliant dog-friendly event inspired by the show-stopping spirit of The Greatest Showman! This is where the spotlight shines on our four-legged friends, bringing together fun and feel- good finale.

This event is your offers a full day of engaging activities, training sessions, and hands-on workshops for handlers and enthusiasts of all levels. With dedicated zones including Training, Family, Workshop, and Competition areas, attendees can explore agility, obedience masterclass, dog behavior, heelwork to music, art based workshops while learning from experienced professionals. It’s more than just an event—it’s a celebration of confidence, creativity, and the joy of letting every dog be a star. So grab your tickets, dress to impress, and get ready for a paw-some spectacle like no other!

Day also includes YRKC Dog Grooming Crufts 2027 Qualifier (you can book this if you are not attending the day)

Venue: The Royal Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, Warwickshire CV8 2LZ 

Parking: Free Parking by the main Royal Kennel Club building.

Refreshments: Please note that lunch is not provided, but there will be hot / squash drinks available to purchase (we can fill up a recyclable cup if you have one).  Please bring water bottles with you.

YRKC Important Event Regulations: 

Members under the age of 18 years old must be supervised by a parent/guardian during the day, so you must stay on site at all times during the event and you cannot drop and leave. Parents should also be on hand to hold or look after dogs during exercises that do not require the dog. 

A dog-friendly family circus-inspired event with magical hits, performance, fun games and themed prizes to win.

Note: After booking - we will send you out a form for you to select your interests. Members can take part in both training sessions, family fun and they can pick three workshop sessions. Master class will be open to members who compete and will be on a first come first serve basis

YRKC Dog Grooming Crufts Qualifier - if you would like to enter please email ykc@royalkennelclub.com

If you are registering for YRKC Dog Grooming Competition you can register at 1pm and competition begins at 1.30pm 

***Please bring your own Dog Grooming table and hand held clippers if needed, we will not have any onsite*** 

The fee will be £6.00 – please bring the correct amount of money with you as we will not have a card machine for you to pay with – cash only. 

YKC “Groom Through” and “Clip, Trim and Strip” competitors will have 2½ hours to complete their tasks, Competitors are not required to use the full 2½ hours, there will be an optional interval during this competition to allow competitors a 10-minute break for their dog’s comfort. This is a training event and will take place inside and outside. Please make sure you wear comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear. You can bring chairs with you and dog crates. 

Photography and Filming 

Please be advised that members may be photographed or filmed at events, either individually or in a group, and that these images may be used for Kennel Club purposes only. You will be asked to complete a form on the day to opt in or out of any photographs or filming. 

Dog Welfare 

Dogs must be at least 6 months old to attend. 

Dogs must be on a lead unless training requires them to be off-the-added. 

No person shall carry out harsh handling of their dog at any time during the event. 

No dog which has contracted or been knowingly exposed to any infectious or contagious disease during the 21 days prior to the event, or which is suffering from a visible condition which adversely affects its health or welfare is to be brought to the event. 

Please make sure you clear up after your dog at the venue.
