A Northern team has won the InterRegional Obedience competition, held on Friday 6 March 2026 at Crufts. Judged by Wendy Birch, the event brought together seven regional teams - Midlands, Scotland, Northern, Wales, South & South West, South East & East Anglia, and Northern Ireland - for a full day of high level obedience competition.

Teams competed across Beginner, Novice, Class A, Class B and Class C, with handlers and dogs demonstrating precision, control and teamwork through exercises including heelwork at varying paces, send away and recall, retrieve, distant control, and scent discrimination.

Overall Winning Team: Northern RunnerUp Team: Midlands Third Place Team: Scotland

The Inter-Regional Obedience competition remains a highlight of the Crufts obedience programme, celebrating the dedication, skill and partnership that define the discipline. The Royal Kennel Club congratulates all competitors and thanks the regional teams, volunteers and supporters who made this year’s event a success.
