The Royal Kennel Club is holding a seminar for field trial secretaries at The Royal Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, Warwickshire CV8 2LZ on Sunday 28 June 2026.  

The Royal Kennel Club Field Trial Secretaries’ Seminar focuses on providing essential knowledge and understanding for the management, organisation and stewarding of field trials and gundog working tests.

The seminar is an opportunity for those who are newly appointed field trial or gundog working test secretaries, club officials and existing field trial or gundog working test secretaries to benefit from the very latest information from the Royal Kennel Club. Other field trial society representatives, competitors and anyone else with an interest in the discipline are also welcome to attend. The seminar focuses on providing essential knowledge and understanding for the management, organisation and stewarding of field trials and gundog working tests.

The day will consist of presentations and breakout sessions which are designed around a variety of issues that a secretary is likely to encounter. Each delegate will receive a comprehensive digital information pack containing template forms which can be tailored for individual use, as well as copies of the presentations and examples of the various certificates.

Refreshments and a finger buffet lunch are included.
