Clumber Spaniel from Somerset wins place in Crufts Best in Show final

Lee Cox from Cambridge with Bruin, a Spaniel (Clumber), won the Gundog group today (Sunday 08.03.26), the forth and final day of Crufts 2026.

Bruin, a Clumber Spaniel from Somerset, and his handler, Lee Cox, won the Gundog Group title at Crufts 2026 today (Sunday 8 March), qualifying them for one of just seven places in the Best in Show final which took place on Sunday evening.

Bruin (Sh Ch Vanitonia Soloist), aged four, owned, bred and handled by Lee Cox returned to the bp pulse LIVE arena on Sunday evening, along with six other dogs to compete for the coveted Best in Show title at Crufts.

People around Britain and the world watched to see which dog was crowned Best in Show, as the final was shown live on Channel 4 and streamed on the official Crufts YouTube Channel.

18,600 dogs competed at Crufts for a chance to win the most celebrated title in the world of dogs, Best in Show.

Crufts celebrates healthy, happy dogs and the important relationship between dogs and their handlers, and that partnership was clearly demonstrated today in the ring.”
